Hello and welcome to my playground! My name is Chloe Kono and I am a metalsmith. My focus is on art jewelry but I also dabble in all forms of art including metal and mixed media sculpture, drawing and painting, writing and ballet. Thank you for showing interest in my art and the whimsical world that is my imagination, stored inside of my abnormally large fivehead, spilt over and transformed through my acetylene torch.

I have an obsession with all things circus because I believe in the celebration of uniqueness. The "strange and unusual" ones should not try to bury their true selves and fit in but to be proud of who they really are. I aspire to make art that reminds people how there is no obstacle too large to block one's calling, and no giggle too small to reboot one's spirit. I want to reclaim the word "weird". I want all the other odd balls out there to one day say "thank you" with the most glorious smirk on their faces when they feel belittled or misunderstood.

For many years now, my partial proceeds of selected collections have been and will continue to be donated to causes close to my heart including but not limited to Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), The Paw Project, National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association.

Your contribution will go directly into the cost of better materials, investment in and maintenance of my metalsmithing equipment, and serve as a huge asset to the sustainability of my creative business.

Your support is a tremendous pat on the back and is truly appreciated.

Below is an example of a tangible reward that applies to the Carousel Tier & Fun House Tier. A piece of "life-size" chip which records my thoughts of the month will be sent to you. It's a page of diary that I'd like to share with you in the form of metal.
