Adam’s Forge is delighted to announce its annual Forge Festival, a dynamic open house event that transforms our non-profit blacksmithing school into a creative fun house for all ages!
This free-for-all event will feature metalsmithing demos such as live hot forging, team striking, copper forming, jewelry making and chainmail; as well as non metal arts and crafts like needle felting, rope making, leather work, fancy knot work and so much more! The one and only Tony Swatton, armorer to the stars, will be on hand to share some of his special magic. “If you ask nicely, I might show you how I made them!” Said the master blacksmith himself. We’ll also have Blacksmithing Olympics for kids, clay to play with and an ensemble drawing experience.
This immersive event takes place in a workshop environment, so please dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are required to enter the shop.
